FamCare ('http://www.famcare.world' hereinafter referred to as 'FamCare') protects the personal
information of information subjects in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information
Protection Act and ensures that complaints related thereto are handled quickly and smoothly. For
this purpose, we establish and disclose the personal information processing policy as follows.
○ This privacy policy is effective from July 1, 2022
Article 1 (Purpose of processing personal information)
FamCare processes personal information for the following purposes and will not be used for any
purpose other than that purpose. If the purpose of use changes, we will take necessary measures,
such as obtaining separate consent, in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information
Protection Act.
- 1. Website membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming intent to become a member,
identifying and authenticating oneself in accordance with the provision of membership services,
maintaining and managing membership qualifications, managing invitations to non-members,
preventing unauthorized use of services, various notices and notices, and handling grievances.
- 2. Provision of goods or services
Personal information is processed for the purposes of providing health care services, chatting
services, content provision, and customized health services.
- 3. Used in marketing and advertising
Development of new services (products) and provision of customized services, provision of event
and advertising information and participation opportunities, provision of services and posting of
advertisements according to demographic characteristics, verification of service effectiveness,
identification of access frequency or statistics on members’ service use, etc. We process personal
information for this purpose.
Article 2 (Processing and retention period of personal information)
- ① FamCare processes and retains personal information within the personal information
retention/use period in accordance with the law or within the personal information retention/use
period agreed upon when collecting personal information from the information subject.
- ② Personal information processing and retention period is from the date of consent to the
collection and use of personal information until withdrawal of membership. It is retained and used
for the above purposes. However, the reasons for exception are as follows.
- 1) If an investigation or investigation is in progress for violation of relevant laws and regulations,
until the end of the investigation or investigation, etc.
- 2) If any claims or debts remain due to use of the website, until the relevant claims or debts are
settled.
Article 3 (Rights and obligations of information subjects and legal representatives and methods of
exercising them)
- ① The information subject may exercise the rights to view, correct, delete, or suspend processing
of personal information at any time against FamCare.
- ② The exercise of rights pursuant to Paragraph 1 may be made to FamCare in writing, e-mail,
facsimile (FAX), etc. in accordance with Article 41 (1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal
Information Protection Act, and FamCare will take action without delay.
- ③ The exercise of rights under paragraph 1 may be done through an agent, such as the
information subject's legal representative or a person authorized to do so. In this case, you must
submit a power of attorney in the form of Annex No. 11 of the “Notice on Personal Information
Processing Methods (No. 2020-7).”
- ④ Requests to view and suspend personal information processing may limit the information
subject's rights pursuant to Article 35, Paragraph 4 and Article 37, Paragraph 2 of the Personal
Information Protection Act.
- ⑤ Requests for correction or deletion of personal information cannot be requested if the
personal information is specified as a collection target in other laws and regulations.
- ⑥ FamCare confirms whether the person making the request, such as a request for viewing, a
request for correction or deletion, or a request for suspension of processing, is the person or a
legitimate agent in accordance with the information subject's rights.
Article 4 (Preparation of items of personal information to be processed)
- ① FamCare processes the following personal information items for use in 1) website membership
registration and management 2) provision of goods or services 3) marketing and advertising.
- - Processing items: Name, mobile phone number, profile image, affiliation, date of birth, service
use record, access log, access IP information, contact information stored in the address book of
the terminal such as smartphone (third party phone number, name)
Article 5 (Destruction of personal information)
- ① FamCare destroys the personal information without delay when the personal information
becomes unnecessary, such as when the personal information retention period has passed or the
purpose of processing has been achieved.
- ② In cases where personal information must continue to be preserved pursuant to other laws
and regulations despite the expiration of the personal information retention period consented to
by the information subject or the purpose of processing has been achieved, the personal
information shall be transferred to a separate database (DB) or storage location changed. Save it
differently.
- ③ The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows.

Article 6 (Matters regarding installation, operation and refusal of automatic personal information
collection devices)
FamCare does not use ‘cookies’ to store and frequently retrieve the information subject’s usage
information.
Article 7 (Personal Information Protection Manager)
- ① FamCare is responsible for overall management of personal information processing, and
appoints a personal information protection manager as follows to handle complaints and provide
relief for damage from information subjects related to personal information processing.

- ② Information subjects may inquire about all personal information protection-related inquiries,
complaint handling, damage relief, etc. that arise while using FamCare's services (or business) to
the personal information protection manager and responsible department. FamCare will respond
and process inquiries from information subjects without delay.
Article 8 (Request to view personal information)
The information subject may request access to personal information pursuant to Article 35 of the
Personal Information Protection Act to the department below.
